Twice a year the Alumni host a meeting where active and no-longer-active ESNer are welcome to join. This time, we will be guest in the city of Johannes Gutenberg (the father of printing), in Mainz, Germany.
Here is already a rough agenda of the event:
Thursday: arrival, potentially a visit to the museum of Johannes Gutenberg (believe us, printing is really a big step for human kind and this will be mind blowing) and a gathering in the evening during a BBQ
Friday: Let's go and explore 'Mainhatten' aka Frankfurt. The only German city with sky scrapers, being well known for its banks as well as for Goethe, a world famous literate.
Saturday: Well Mainz is a beautiful German student town - let's go explore it and taste some of the local products.
Sunday: Well, it will be time to say goodbye, but for the ones staying a bit longer - we will show you the beautiful wine-region surrounding Mainz and some really nice villages!

How to get there?
It is quite easy to reach Mainz - for the ones coming from far: closest airport (20min local train drive) is Frankfurt international (FRA). It is connected next to the major airlines also via Ryanair and other low-cost airlines. Is you come by train, just go for 'Mainz Hauptbahnhof'. And of course we are close as well to an Autobahn, so arrival by car is definetly also an option.
